Plot:

The film is set during the last month of the European Theater of war during World War II in April 1945. As the Allies make their final push into Nazi Germany, a battle-hardened U.S. Army Staff Sergeant in the 66th Armor Regiment, 2nd Armored Division named Don "Wardaddy" Collier (Brad Pitt) commands an M4A3E8 Sherman tank called "Fury" and its five-man, all-veteran crew, consisting of Boyd "Bible" Swan (Shia LeBeouf), gunner, Grady "Coon-Ass" Travis (Jon Bernthal), loader and Trini "Gordo" Garcia (Michael Pena), driver. After losing the assistant driver/bow gunner in battle, he gets a recently enlisted typist, Norman Ellison (Logan Lerman), as a replacement. The crew, which has been together since the North African Campaign, initially despises Norman for his lack of experience (he apparently had never seen the inside of a tank before) and excessive compassion towards Germans (Norman refuses to shoot a captive German artilleryman, and cannot bring himself to shoot at Hitlerjugend teenagers because of their age), so Wardaddy makes Norman shoot a captive German soldier to break him of his innocence. The bond between Norman and Wardaddy becomes stronger after capturing a small German town, where Wardaddy and Norman meet a German woman named Emma and her cousin. Norman (presumably) sleeps with Emma, then joins Wardaddy and Emma's cousin for breakfast. However, the rest of the crew barge in and cause tensions while at the table. Shortly afterwards, a German bombardment hits the town, killing Emma and some of the American forces. The platoon of tanks, led by Wardaddy, gets a mission to hold a vital crossing, but after encountering a German Tiger I, only Fury remains, the other vehicles being knocked out. The vehicle is immobilized after hitting a landmine; shortly afterwards, a German column of three hundred Waffen-SS infantry approaches. Wardaddy refuses to leave, and the rest of the crew, initially reluctant, decides to stay and plan an ambush. Outnumbered and outgunned, Wardaddy and his men nevertheless inflict heavy losses on the Germans using both the tank's and the crews' weapons, but eventually Grady, Bible, and Gordo are all killed, and Wardaddy is wounded by a sniper. Norman and Wardaddy retreat back into "Fury" where they share their last words. Norman escapes through the bottom hatch of the tank and hides in the crater made by the landmine explosion, while Wardaddy stays behind and is killed by a grenade blast. A young German Waffen-SS trooper finds Norman, but does not turn him in, leaving the assistant driver hidden safely beneath the destroyed tank as the surviving German soldiers move on. The next morning, U.S. Army units discover Norman, and it is implied that the German offensive failed because of the crew's actions. Norman is taken off to safety while he looks back at the carnage of dead German SS troops and the destroyed Fury.

Plot:
In 1865 after the American Civil War, Thomas Gates (Joel Gretsch) and his son Charles Carroll Gates (Billy Unger) are approached by John Wilkes Booth (Christian Camargo) and Michael O'Laughlen, both of them KGC. They ask Thomas, a skilled puzzle-solver, to decode a playfair cipher written in Booth's diary. O'Laughlen stays with Thomas as Booth leaves to assassinate Abraham Lincoln. Just as Thomas discovers the message is a map to Cíbola, the fabled City of Gold, chaos arises in the streets from Lincoln's assassination. Thomas realizes that Booth and O'Laughlen are still loyal to the South and tosses the diary pages into a fire after O'Laughlen shoots him. O'Laughlen manages to save a partial page from the fireplace before escaping. Thomas' dying words to Charles are "the debt that all men pay". 140 years later in modern day where Benjamin Gates (Nicolas Cage), Thomas' great-great-grandson, is retelling Thomas' story at a Civilian Heroes conference. He and his father Patrick Gates (Jon Voight) are publicly accosted by Mitch Wilkinson (Ed Harris), a black market dealer who has come into possession of the Booth diary page, which appears to link Thomas to Booth and Lincoln's assassination. Ben is determined to solve the puzzle on the page to restore Thomas' legacy. Meanwhile, Agent Peter Sandusky (Harvey Keitel) of the FBI finds it suspicious that a black market dealer like Mitch would suddenly come forward with a rare Civil War artifact. Ben meets up with his technology-savvy friend Riley Poole when his Ferrari just got impounded by the IRS because of an unexpected debt. Ben requests his ex-girlfriend Abigail Chase (Diane Kruger) to access the diary page, and after several hours of examination they discover the cipher on the diary page. Thanks to Thomas' last words that Patrick heard from Charles they know the key code is "Death". Ben figure the cipher points to a hidden inscription on the scale model of the Statue of Liberty on the Île aux Cygnes by Édouard Laboulaye who was a Freemason. In Paris, the inscription points to the two Resolute desks, one of which is in Buckingham Palace, the other in the White House. Ben is unaware that Mitch is following in his footsteps, using a clone of Patrick's cell phone to intercept messages. In London, Ben discovers that Patrick has sent Abigail to help. They sneak into the Queen's quarters and find that the Resolute desk acts as a puzzle box, revealing a hidden compartment with a centuries-old plank of wood with indecipherable hieroglyphics on it. Ben then photographs it before Mitch and his men steal it after a car chase through London. Back in Washington D.C, Patrick indicates the plank leads to Cíbola, the City of Gold. Reading a book about Native American history, tells how explorers tried to find Cíbola after its first discovery in 1527 but couldn't find it.Dr. Emily Appleton (Helen Mirren), Ben's mother and Patrick's ex-wife, is able to translate part of the plank but states that the message is incomplete. Abigail uses her current boyfriend, Conner (Ty Burrell), a White House staff member, to sneak Ben into the Oval Office to get the other plank, but Ben finds the Resolute desk compartment empty, save for a symbol representing the supposed "Book of Secrets". Riley asserts that the Book is real, having himself just written a book on its existence, and claims that it contains the truth behind many conspiracy theories, believing the other plank is now in the Book. Traditionally, the only person to know the whereabouts of the Book of Secrets is the current President (Bruce Greenwood) himself, since it's for Presidents' eyes only. Ben and his team manipulate events to assure that the President's birthday celebration occurs at Mount Vernon, allowing Ben to sneak in and lure the President alone to a set of disused tunnels. Ben then blocks off the entrance, trapping the President alone with him so that they can talk about the Book of Secrets. Though the President warns Ben that he will be charged with kidnapping the President, he is sympathetic to Ben's cause and provides him with the Book's location at the Library of Congress. Ben, Abigail, and Riley locate the Book as the FBI, including Sadusky, surround the building. In the Book, they find that President Calvin Coolidge found the other plank in 1924 and destroyed it after taking a photo (which is still in the Book). He also ordered Gutzon Borglum to carve Mount Rushmore to hide the landmark indicated on the plank in order to protect Cíbola. As Ben and his team elude the FBI, he sends an image of the plank to Patrick to give to Emily to decode, unaware that Mitch has intercepted this. Mitch forces Emily to lie to Patrick about the inscription's meaning, but gives him a non-verbal cue of this falsehood. Ben, Patrick, Abigail and Riley arrive at Mount Rushmore, prepared to deal with Mitch, but find that Mitch has brought Emily along, using her as a hostage to ensure Ben follows the final clues on an old letter sent from Queen Victoria to Confederate general Albert Pike. Ben finds the secret entrance, and after avoiding several traps, the group arrives at Cíbola, the City of Gold. Mitch apologizes to Ben for damaging his family name. As they explore, they accidentally cause the cave to flood with water from a lake above. The only means of escape is through a drainage door that must be held open during the escape and closed afterwards, trapping the one controlling the door since it can't stay open by itself. Mitch initially forces Ben to sacrifice himself, while threatening to cut Abigail's throat but after a surge of water, Mitch finds himself holding the door open. He requests that part of this discovery be in his name. Ben and the others escape safely while he stays behind and is killed. Ben and his friends are met by Sadusky and taken to a nearby military base. Ben is cleared of kidnapping by the President himself who claims that Ben rescued him after the tunnel closed accidentally. Thomas Gates' name is cleared and he is called a hero of the Civil War. Sometime later, Cíbola's discovery is announced with Ben, his team, and Mitch given credit for its discovery. Patrick and Emily, happily working together, eagerly take to the task of analyzing Cíbola once it is drained of water. Ben and Abigail rekindle their broken relationship. Riley arrives home to find that the President has given his Ferrari back. The only mystery remaining is what the President asked Ben to decipher on Page 47 of the Book, which Ben says was a life-changing message. Later, Riley is given a new car from the White House, but he accidentally crashes it into a car behind him.

Plot:
Following his pursuit by Kirill, Jason Bourne evades Moscow police. Six weeks later, CIA Deputy Director Pamela Landy divulges the audiotaped confession of Ward Abbott, the late former head of Operation Treadstone, to Director Ezra Kramer. Meanwhile, in Turin, Guardian journalist Simon Ross meets a paid informant to learn about Bourne and Operation Blackbriar, the program succeeding Treadstone. The CIA tracks Ross as he returns to London, after his mention of "Blackbriar" during a cell-phone call to his editor is detected by the ECHELON system. Bourne reappears in Paris to inform the brother of his girlfriend Marie Kreutz of her assassination in India. Bourne reads Ross's articles and arranges a meeting with him at London Waterloo station. Bourne realizes the CIA is following Ross and helps him evade capture, but Ross deviates from Bourne's instructions and is executed by Blackbriar assassin Paz, on orders of Deputy Director Noah Vosen. Vosen's team, reluctantly assisted by Landy, analyzes Ross's notes and realize Neal Daniels, a CIA Station Chief involved with Treadstone and Blackbriar, was his source. Bourne makes his way to Daniels' office in Madrid, but finds it empty. He incapacitates gunmen sent by Vosen and Landy. Nicky Parsons, a former Treadstone technician who shares a history with Bourne, tells him that Daniels has fled to Tangier and aids his escape from an arriving CIA unit. Parsons learns that Blackbriar "asset" Desh Bouksani has been tasked with killing Daniels. Vosen sees that Parsons accessed information about Daniels and sends Desh after Parsons and Bourne as well, a decision Landy fiercely disagrees with. Bourne follows Desh to Daniels, but fails to prevent Daniels' death by a planted bomb. However, Bourne manages to kill Desh before he can kill Parsons. After sending Parsons into hiding, Bourne examines the contents of Daniels' briefcase and finds the address of the deep-cover CIA bureau in New York City, where Vosen directs Blackbriar. Bourne travels to New York. Landy receives a phone call from Bourne, which is intercepted by Vosen. Landy tells him that his real name is David Webb and his birthdate is "4-15-71". Bourne tells Landy to "get some rest" because she "look tired", tipping off his presence in New York. Vosen intercepts a text to Landy from Bourne of a location to meet up, and leaves his office with a rendition team to capture him. Instead, Bourne breaks into Vosen's office and steals classified Blackbriar documents. Realizing that he'd been had, Vosen sends Paz after Bourne, resulting in Paz forcing Bourne's car to crash into a concrete barrier. Bourne holds Paz at gunpoint before sparing his life. Bourne arrives at a hospital at 415 East 71st Street, memories of which were triggered by the false birthdate that Landy had given him earlier. Outside, Bourne meets Landy and gives her the Blackbriar files before going inside. Vosen figures out Landy's code and warns Dr. Albert Hirsch, who ran Treadstone's behavior modification program, that Bourne is coming. He follows Landy inside the building, but is too late to stop her from faxing the Blackbriar documents out. Meanwhile, Bourne encounters Hirsch on an upper floor and, with Hirsch's help, remembers that he volunteered for Treadstone. As Bourne flees to the roof, he is confronted by Paz, who asks, "Why didn't you take the shot?" Bourne repeats the dying words of The Professor: "Look at us. Look at what they make you give." Paz lowers his gun, but Vosen appears and shoots at Bourne as he leaps into the East River. Some time later, Parsons watches a news broadcast about the exposure of Operation Blackbriar, the arrests of Hirsch and Vosen, a criminal investigation against Kramer, and the whereabouts of David Webb a.k.a. Jason Bourne. Upon hearing that his body has not been found after a three-day search of the river, Parsons smiles. Bourne is shown swimming away after his fall.

Plot:
The Order of the Phoenix, a secret organisation founded by Albus Dumbledore, inform the now 15-year-old Harry Potter that the Ministry of Magic is oblivious to Lord Voldemort's return; under the Ministry's influence, The Daily Prophet has launched a smear campaign towards Harry and Dumbledore following Harry's encounter with Voldemort at the end of the previous year. This encounter has had a huge psychological effect on Harry – he has nightmares not only about what happened in the graveyard but also about the Department of Mysteries at the Ministry of Magic. While at the Order's headquarters, Harry's godfather, Sirius Black, mentions that Voldemort is after an object which he did not have last time.Upon arrival at Hogwarts, Harry learns that Minister for Magic Cornelius Fudge has appointed a new Defence Against the Dark Arts professor: Dolores Umbridge, a senior Ministry official who refuses to teach practical magic due to her belief that Dumbledore is forming a rebellion against the Ministry. Umbridge and Harry immediately clash, as she is oblivious to Voldemort's return and punishes Harry for his "lies" by forcing him to write a message with a magic quill, causing the words to be scratched into the back of his hand. When Ron and Hermione notice Harry's scars, they are outraged but he refuses to go to Dumbledore, who has distanced himself from Harry since the summer. As Umbridge's control over the school increases, Ron and Hermione aid Harry in forming a secret group to train students in defensive spells, calling themselves "Dumbledore's Army". The Slytherin students are recruited by Umbridge to expose the group. Meanwhile, Harry and Cho Chang develop romantic feelings for each other and begin a relationship during Christmas, Cho being Harry's first kiss at the last DA meeting before the holidays. However, Harry worries that his increasingly erratic behaviour is becoming more like Voldemort's. Harry has a vision involving an attack upon Arthur Weasley in the Department of Mysteries, from the point of view of Arthur's attacker. Concerned that Voldemort will exploit this connection to Harry, Dumbledore instructs Professor Snape to give Harry Occlumency lessons to defend his mind from Voldemort's influence. These lessons increase Harry's psychological problems, as he is forced to relive all his bad experiences. After repeated lessons, Harry finally snaps, and casts the spell back on Snape, allowing Harry to discover through Snape's memories why he hated Harry's father, James, who often bullied him. The connection between Harry and Voldemort leads Harry to further isolate himself from his friends. Meanwhile, Bellatrix Lestrange, Sirius' deranged cousin, escapes from Azkaban along with nine other Death Eaters. At Hogwarts, Umbridge and her Inquisitorial Squad uncover Dumbledore's Army after illegally interrogating Cho with Veritaserum (unbeknownst to Harry and the rest of the group). Dumbledore covers up for Harry, but escapes as Fudge orders his arrest. With Dumbledore gone, Umbridge becomes the new Headmistress and exercises even stricter control over the campus. Harry's relationship with Cho falls apart, as he believes she betrayed Dumbledore's Army to Umbridge. During an Ordinary Wizarding Level (O.W.L.) exam, the Weasley twins finally revolt and set off fireworks in the Great Hall, causing chaos for Umbridge. During this event, Harry has a vision of Sirius being tortured by Voldemort within the Department of Mysteries. Harry, Ron and Hermione rush to Umbridge's fireplace to alert the Order via the Floo Network, since hers is the only fireplace not being monitored, but Umbridge stops them before they can do so. When she tortures Harry and threatens to use the Cruciatus Curse to get information out of Him about the trio's intentions, Hermione tricks Umbridge into entering the Forbidden Forest in search of Dumbledore's "secret weapon". She and Harry lead her to the hiding place of Hagrid's half-giant brother, Grawp, only to be confronted by centaurs who kidnap Umbridge after she attacks them. Harry, Hermione, Ron, Luna, Neville and Ginny fly to the Ministry of Magic on Thestrals in an attempt to save Sirius. The six enter the Department of Mysteries where they uncover a bottled prophecy involving Harry and Voldemort, the object Voldemort was after. However, they are ambushed by Death Eaters including Lucius Malfoy and Bellatrix Lestrange. Lucius reveals that Harry only saw a dream of Sirius being tortured; it was not an actual situation, rather a method to lure Harry into the Death Eater's grasp. Lucius attempts to persuade Harry to give him the prophecy, telling him it will reveal why Voldemort could not kill Harry when he was an infant. Harry refuses and a fight between Dumbledore's Army and the Death Eaters ensues. The Death Eaters take everyone except Harry as hostages, threatening to kill them if he does not surrender the prophecy. Harry obliges just as Sirius and Remus Lupin arrive with Order members Nymphadora Tonks, Kingsley Shacklebolt and Mad-Eye Moody. They attack the Death Eaters and Lucius drops the prophecy, destroying it. Harry and Sirius duel him. Just as Sirius defeats Lucius, Bellatrix kills Sirius. Despite Remus trying to hold him back, Harry goes after Bellatrix, who runs away repeating "I killed Sirius Black!" in a song-like manner. Harry chases and corners Bellatrix in the Atrium and attempts to perform the Cruciatus Curse on her, but to little avail (it knocks her down). Voldemort appears, but Dumbledore arrives through the Floo Network moments before Voldemort can kill Harry. A duel between Voldemort and Dumbledore ensues while Bellatrix escapes. After the two prove evenly matched, Voldemort possesses Harry to try to get Dumbledore to sacrifice Harry in the hope of killing him, but the love Harry feels for his friends and Sirius makes it impossible for Voldemort to remain in his body. Ministry officials arrive before Voldemort disapparates; Fudge is forced to admit that Voldemort has returned and resigns as Minister. Dumbledore returns as headmaster of Hogwarts after he and Harry are vindicated. Dumbledore explains that he distanced himself from Harry throughout the year hoping it would lessen the risk of Voldemort using their connection. Harry comes to terms with the prophecy; "Neither can live while the other survives." As Harry and his friends head towards the Hogwarts Express, Harry tells his friends that even though a war is beginning, unlike Voldemort, they have something worth fighting for.
